I have two very clear impressions from when this was done: that it was incredibly peaceful despite being in the middle of Edinburgh, and that it was an absolutely frigid November afternoon. This is the only piece of artwork that I've got on here which was actually drawn using something for reference; in this case, the wellspring near the Water of Leith in Edinburgh. The spring is inside the monument's base.
I don't have the original of this sketch, anymore. I gave it to the man who told me how to find the Water.
